Covers your business and the problem you are trying to solve; what has been tried before and why it did not work; your timeline and budget parameters; and an honest assessment of whether Hawd Design is the right fit. If we are not the right fit, we say so and explain why — and often suggest a better option.
You receive a written proposal specifying scope, deliverables, timeline, payment terms, and fixed price. The proposal is the basis for the contract — there are no figures that appear only after the signature.

We ask about your current digital presence, who your customers are, and what specific outcome you are trying to achieve — more leads, better organic rankings, a higher e-commerce conversion rate, a credible brand identity for an investor round. The more specific you can be, the more useful the call will be.
Most enquiries come from businesses that have had a previous agency experience that disappointed. Understanding precisely what went wrong — whether it was communication breakdown, technical underdelivery, scope creep, or simply the wrong strategic brief — is essential to knowing whether we can do better.
We ask about both — not to anchor our pricing to your maximum budget, but because timeline and budget constraints determine what is actually achievable. If your timeline is unrealistic for the scope you need, we tell you. If your budget is insufficient for what you are describing, we tell you that too — and often suggest a smaller, correctly scoped alternative.
We tell you whether we are the right fit for your project, what we would recommend, and what a realistic scope and price looks like. If we are not the right fit — because your budget is below our minimum, because your project requires a specialism we do not have, or the brief has problems we cannot solve — we say so, and suggest alternatives where we can.
